A FIVE-STAR MIND EXCHANGE

As soon as I stepped into co-working space The Great Room, I pictured myself in a five-star, contemporary, high-design hotel, with elevated layout and composition.

The Great Room opened in One Taikoo Place early this year. “What we offer is an elevated environment,” says Jaelle Ang, co-founder of The Great Room. “Designed to look professional yet warm and inviting, with Instagram-perfect lighting, our aesthetics draw influence from the best hotel lobbies. We always work with hotel designers.”

Emphasising the philosophy ‘it’s all work, it’s all play’, this unique co-working space allows members to rent private offices or hot desks, or simply designate the location as their postal address. Professionals in town for a short period can purchase day passes. In addition, members can also choose to participate in community events organized by The Great Room, such as their monthly social – this Great Thirstday, virtual wellness sessions, meditation classes and nutrition workshops, all in mind with improving the wellness of members.

To complement its wellness initiatives, The Great Room also seeks to inspire its members with the new Great Minds Never Think Alike campaign – a compendium of recipes for a life better lived in work and in play. Through the campaign, members can discover how some of the brightest and highest performing personalities in the region work.
