THE ART OF MASKS
ALEX ISRAEL
When masks are becoming an essential part of our life under the pandemic, we might as well pour some fun into them. How about adding a sense of fashion into the dull masks and turn them into fashion accessories? You can wear them to boost your mood.
K11 unveils exclusive partnership in Asia Pacific with The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles to showcase limitedproduction MOCA Masks at K11 MUSEA, designed by 9 globally celebrated artists including Virgil Abloh, Mark Grotjahn, Alex Israel, Barbara Kruger, Yoko Ono, Catherine Opie, Pipilotti Rist, Hank Willis Thomas, and Andy Warhol from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
Made in Los Angeles, MOCA Masks are available in APAC via the exclusive K11 x MOCA partnership. Available to pre-order through K11 eshop, the masks will also be shown at the Gold Ball on the second floor of K11 MUSEA.
Despite masks becoming fashion items, we still look forward to the moment when the pandemic is over, and we can finally take them off.
