Known as the “International indoor show jumping competition”, the five-star equestrian event “Longines Masters of Hong Kong 2019″ is one of the core equestrian events in the world. The event, currently in its 7th year, will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo venue from February 15 – 17. Two new trophies will be added this year, including the “HKJC Asia Challenge” and the “HKJC Asian Junior Challenge”. The 2018 Asian Games equestrian dressage gold medalist Jacqueline Siu will also perform with the horse “Ma Club” in the Masters, her first time in Hong Kong of performing the award-winning dressage.
- The three-day Longines Masters of Hong Kong 2019 event features six different prize-winning events and a super grand slam of €2.25 million. The first special event of this year’s Asian Games is composed of six young riders from Hong Kong, Mainland China and the rest of Asia. The new generation of equestrian players compete against each other on the gorgeous stage, which establishes Hong Kong as the capital of Asian equestrian sports. Other highlights include the unique Longines Speed Challenge, which is not to be missed for those who are interested in horse racing and equestrian.
